What is Sclertotherapy?
Our estheticians are sclerotherapy specialists. With sclertotherapy, you can reduce the appearance of unwanted varicose and spider veins. Sclerotherapy involves a medication called Polidocanol that effectively treats and minimizes varicose and spider veins. Polidocanol is often considered the treatment of choice for small varicose veins!
How Does Sclertotherapy Work?
Ready for your unwanted veins to fade away? Michelle Esthetics is here to help. Minimize the appearance of your varicose and spider veins with sclertotherapy. Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution directly into the vein to reduce the appearance of unwanted varicose or spider veins. The sclerotherapy solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades away, leaving your skin smooth and clear. After sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to fade within a few weeks. Occasionally, it may take a month or more to see full results. In some instances, several sclerotherapy treatments may be needed. We always advise a consultation before the actual procedure to assess whether you are a good candidate for treatment. Reach out to our med spa today to schedule your consultation and start the journey to clear skin!
